Welcome to the website of the project DATA ALLY. To address complex societal challenges, governments need to make evidence-based decisions based on the best available data. However, the private sector now holds much of the relevant data. This project investigates how to rebalance the ‘data asymmetry’ between governments and businesses and how data shared by the private sector is used in government decisions on societal issues.
An overview of the research agenda can be accessed here.
