Data Ally project kicks off
On 22 October 2024 the Data Ally team kicked off the project at the Academy Hall of Utrecht University with a seminar on the topic: Private sector data for public interest – government-business data relations. The seminar brought together 20+ researchers from different Dutch universities to discuss and network on the topic of business-to-government data sharing. In the seminar, Iryna Susha, Sofie de Wilde de Ligny and Jaime Bernal introduced the Data Ally project and set the stage for five pitches by invited speakers: Barteld Braaksma (Statistics Netherlands), Anne Fleur van Veenstra (TNO/Leiden University), Gijs van Maanen (Tilburg University), Oskar J. Gstrein (Groningen University), and Mark de Reuver (TU Delft). The take-aways from the discussions are captured here.
